About the Trio

A fortunate
discovery.

Founded in 2024, the Trouvaille Trio brings together Indonesian pianist Victoria Sarasvathi, Polish violinist Sebastian Nowak, and German-American cellist Timothy Hopkins.

Shortly after its formation, the ensemble was awarded Second Prize at the Chamber Music Competition of the Polytechnische Gesellschaft in Frankfurt, leading to concert engagements across Europe, Asia, and Africa.

The trio's name, Trouvaille — meaning “a fortunate discovery” — reflects the ensemble's artistic philosophy of uncovering expressive repertoire, musical dialogue, and shared artistic exploration.
